We all see life through different-coloured glasses. There is no such thing as objective reality ... only the reality we ourselves create. I want to create a world of colours - a world of joy and beauty. I take some subjects from reality, others are quite simply prompted by my heart's urge to create. The urge to create is a very strong presence in my life. I strive for a spontaneous, direct painting and let the colours live their own life, go their own way. Layer by layer the picture develops. The creamy essence of the paint confirms the mood. It is my own hope that you will find joy and hope in my pictures and that every time you look at them you will have a new experience of colour, form, rythm and mood. Then the colours can form harmonies that give you an aesthetic experience deep inside and inspire a belief in the future. Let yourself dissolve in the blue of yearning, the red of passion and the yellow of fire. Let the green of luxuriance and the mauve of dreams envelop your senses and nourish your imagination. Let in the light and make every day a day to remember.
